I have always created lists – piece of cake now with computers and spreadsheets.

Years ago it was “My 10 Favourite Novels” (I did not include classics – say before 1900, and non-fiction), then as the books read climbed into the thousands I relented and made it Top 20.  A list like this is and, by its origin and nature, has to be subjective, but because my tastes are so diverse, whatever you read you may well find something to add to your reading list.  For example:  Historical:  The Egyptian, Raintree County; Political:  Seven Days In May, Advise and Consent; Literature:  The Grapes of Wrath, Look Homeward, Angel; Mystery:  Rebecca, A Quiet Belief In Angels.  To check them all out simply copy and paste:

I am now a Goodreads Author and have posted over 50 REVIEWS I have done over the years.  I only do reviews of authors I admire and books I enjoyed, or, if non-fiction, found valuable.  For convenience I have alpha sorted by author.  I have now completed reviews for my 20 Favouritre Novels, so if you request the list you can check my review.  You probably have a Goodreads A/c, if not you can open it free and enjoy the benefits.
