For decades Eric has had a fascination with what he refers to as “The Fork In the Road Syndrome”, both in what he writes and reads.  This is evidenced in the 30 short stories that make up THE FORK IN THE ROAD series - six volumes plus a free short story, ALL of which are NOW available through digital retailers.  Choice, Chance and Repercussion are equally evident in his novel, THE PRICE TO PAY, a political thriller set on Amity, a fictional island off the east coast of Australia, which he expects to publish in the next few months.  About half of the stories have been published or broadcast over the years.

Eric lives in Sydney, Australia, where many of the stories have been set.

In his words:

·         "The essence of Choice, Chance and Repercussion is exemplified in the titular story, the first in THE FORK IN THE ROAD – Bonus Volume.  In 2007, late one night, I was robbed at knife and gun point when I went to an ATM.  Not surprisingly, I translated this experience into a short story where I explore three possible outcomes of just going to the hole in the wall.

·         “My tastes are eclectic and I look forward to sharing my thoughts, comments and recommendations of favoured books and movies.

·         “Ever since I was 15 I have recorded and rated every book I have read and movie I have seen, so with over 6,000 books and many thousands of movies, it is a rich field to be harvested."

You can read a free copy of his short story IN SUNSHINE OR IN SHADOW by clicking on a selected retailer, plus, simply by providing your email address, as a "thank you" he will give you The Fork In The Road - Bonus Volume free.

He plans to have a monthly newsletter which will cover the spectrum:

·         What he is writing, where the ideas came from and the development of the characters who people the stories.

·         In addition, the books he has been reading and the movies he has watched,

·         Plus reflections on Man and Mankind.

The quotes below, which are taken from Eric's various works, will give you an idea of how he thinks and feels:

 ·        ·         A door closes – a year ends; look up to the bright sun that illuminates the new day and renews the jaded spirit.

·          Resolve must be accompanied by focused action.

·         It is indeed strange, how the intersecting lines of chance sketch portraits and landscapes for each of us.

·         None of us know what is beyond the horizon, or where the lines of latitude and longitude might intersect, nor how many sailing days we will need to reach our destiny.

·         Discipline, truth, honour, respect, compassion,

These are the particles of love that go to fashion

The day, the year, the life better lived,

The life, at its end, better recalled.
